Eldoret Aviation Training Institute, a market leader in aviation and commercial training locally and regionally, was established in February, 1999 to enhance excellence and set new standards in the aviation industry and its allied sectors. It was conceptualized and established by professionals within the aviation industry to provide adequately trained manpower.
Situated along the busy Eldoret – Airport Road stands the now spectacular Aviation Centre. Eldoret Aviation Training Institute offers a wide range of courses in nine academic disciplines namely; Aeronautical Engineering, Travel, Tourism & Hospitality, Mass Communication, Business Studies, Fire Protection Safety and Technology, Airport Operations & Flight Dispatch, and Information & Communication Technology.
To facilitate a market driven training, Eldoret Aviation Training Institute has well equipped workshops, a modern ICT laboratory and a reference library. Currently, the institute has over 500 students from all over the country and the neighboring states. You can also make inquiries for Private Pilot License (PPL), Commercial Pilot License (CPL) Instrument Rating (IR) and Multi Engine Rating (MER) flying courses form All Asia Aviation Academy (Phillipines) at the institute. The ongoing expansion of its physical facilities and development of its manpower is clear demonstration that institute aims to offer degree programmes in various disciplines in the future.
On the academic front, EATI has continued to post excellent results in national and international exams and is a teaching as well as examinations Centre for Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC), Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE) and Institute for the Management of Information Systems (IMIS) among others.

There are four semesters in any given year (each semester is at least 12 Weeks). Students’ intakes are in January, May, July, September and November.
Please note that places are given on the basis of first come first served. Our policy is to have small number of students per class in order to optimize on the teacher/students ratio. You are therefore advised to confirm you booking early.
Reservations for courses are accepted on a first-come first-served basis. EATI reserves the right to change or cancel courses/fees under unavoidable circumstances.
Once the courses have been advertised in the press, the applicant is at liberty to apply for any course provided, he/she meets the minimum qualification for entry that course. The college will then invite the applicant for a written interview, and upon passing the interview; a letter of admission is issued or sent to the applicant.
However, those applicants who fail to meet the minimum qualifications for the preferred courses will be advised to take another course related to their field of interest.
