DIPLOMA IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
The course is designed for those who wish to work or are employed in Information Systems environment. The one-year course stresses on acquisition of all relevant information technology Knowledge, skills and attitudes. The course objectives and contents ensure that the students perform effectively at the fast growing Information Technology Sector. The pre-requisite is that students will be familiar with the organization of an information Technology department and its Functions. However, students who have the commensurate computer experience and interest can undertake the course.
The course aims to produce graduates with practical skills and understanding of the information requirements of Industry. The students will be provided with knowledge and skill necessary to design, build, integrate and support the Information Technology (IT) Industry or achieve-self employment in IT and consultancy.

High School mean grade C- (Minus) for Diploma and D (Plain) for Certificate levels.

Students with lower KCSE grades can also be admitted after successfully passing the institute's aptitude

• KNEC 2 years for Diploma and 1½ years for Certificate levels.
